General Donation

At Royal Promise each physical need our organization faces is attached to a human life. That is why our work is so sacred, valuable, and weighty to us. With each physical need that we meet, it opens up the door to relationship with those we are serving, and this becomes the gateway for us to have a spiritual impact of discipleship in their lives. So though you will see a list of tangible needs below that your donations go toward, it’s the impact of relationship behind that donation that you are making possible for our organization.

School sponsorshiPs

For various children and young adults in the communities in which we are located, who do not live at our mission centers. Ghanaians take the opportunity of becoming educated very seriously, but unfortunately, many in rural communities - such as where we work in Asikuma - do not have the financial means to be educated beyond the junior high level. Our most frequent requests for financial assistance are for educational sponsorships, such as the one we have been providing for a young man named Godwin, through your donations. Through assistance from Royal Promise, Godwin has been able to attend a vocational school where he is studying masonry/construction. Click here to read the testimony of how this educational sponsorship is making an impact in Godwin’s life.

Medical needs

Such as that of Georgina, our sister in Christ, whom we have had a relationship with for many years. Recently Georgina developed a very desperate heart condition that greatly affected her physical health. She became very weak, short of breath, and needed evaluation, diagnosis and treatment - yet she did not have the money for any of these things. Through our assistance, Georgina received medical sponsorship to begin the process of getting proper treatment for her condition. She received encouragement, prayer, support, and action from our organization during a time in her life when she needed it most. Financial assistance for medical care and treatment is the second most frequent request that our organization receives.

Monthly budget

Our monthly budget includes all living expenses for our children and staff who live at our mission centers in Asikuma and Cape Coast, salaries for our Ghanaian staff members, including our teaching staff at Royal Promise Christian School, and additional expenses involved in caring for our children living at our mission centers with HIV/AIDS - such as special dietary requirements, lab testings, and routine check ups and reviews.

Whatever needs or deficit we are facing at the particular time.

For instance, for several months our gas stove/oven at our mission center in Asikuma had been broken down. Our house mother and cooks managed without it for a very long time, but it made cooking very difficult. Finally after quite some time, we received a donation that allowed us to purchase a new stove for our center. Our house mother was so overjoyed that she kept sending all of us pictures of the new stove being installed. This was quite an answer to prayer for her. Another example of this is replacing items at our mission centers that break or wear down over time.  Recently new bunk beds, dish ware sets, and irons made that list.
