We welcomed 12 new orphans to our mission center in Cape Coast in December 2020, none of these children had been to school before. Most couldn't write their name, sing the alphabet, count, or speak any English. Though we immediately sponsored and enrolled these children in school in our community, they were getting lost in the shuffle and weren't getting the individualized help and attention they needed. We were not satisfied with their scores and growth educationally after their first few months in public school.

Earlier this year, we began to start down a new journey of homeschool at our mission center in Cape Coast. We hired two professional teachers from the community, and classes officially began June 1st, 2021! We have been homeschooling for 6 months now, and we have experienced the Lord's hand and grace over this decision in countless ways. The children are showing drastic growth and we are so excited for the possibilities ahead!
